Iv been here about three times. First time was when it first opened we got hibachi we didn't sit at the hibachi table just the regular table. The food was super greasy the first time bc I remember feeling icky after. Second time we got sushi it was good I enjoyed my rolls and service was good. Third time we sat at the hibachi table and u get soooo much good food at the table. I had left overs for days and it was better than the first time. The ambience was nice and noise level wasn't too bad it also wasn't too busy when we were there. It started to pick up later in the evening as we were leaving.

To be 100% honest this place was not at all where we had planned but best happy accident ever! Stopped two other places and both places had long waits so kept driving and took a shot here! We were quickly greeted by friendly hostess and shown to our table. Our server Deshonta was super friendly and totally on top of it the whole time even tho this place was filling up after we arrived 7:30-8 ish. Neither of us were feeling hibachi so we opted for sushi, we ordered the kamikaze roll and Las Vegas roll. Both came out quickly after finishing our soup and salads! The mixed drinks we both ordered could've def had a sec more or so pour of liquor but all and all super good experience! Love the decor in this place and how open and inviting it is!

I had a craving for sushi last week and so we decided to do take out from Genji. Can't speak to the ambience obviously but I absolutely LOVED the two rolls I got - the Vegas roll and the Tokyo roll. The Tokyo roll satisfies my cream cheese craving and the Vegas roll had jalapeños on top and made for the perfect spicy roll. My mouth is watering thinking back to it. Can't wait to try more of their rolls! Also, note that they have a good range of raw and also torched/fried/baked rolls.

5 stars for the incredible service... BUT food was quite lacking. 3.5 for me but bumping it up because there's definitely room for improvement. My partner and I have been wanting to try out this restaurant for quite awhile now and decided to try this place out for dinner today. You get an option to either sit at the hibachi table or at the dining room; we went with the dining room. Very clean atmosphere and our waitress was attentive and very sweet. We ordered the Sushi Combo and Alaskan Roll. The sushi was a decent size but poorly rolled. Everything tasted just OK. Not sure if we would be back, mainly because we don't live too close by...but also, we've definitely have better sushi place around us; value, size, and taste wise. Come here for a fun date-night but don't expect anything extraordinary.
